Khmeli-suneli is a spice blend from the country Georgia and the Caucasus region, traditionally used to season soups, stews, meat and vegetables. Every household and every region has its own version of the blend. Georgians use khmeli-suneli when cooking dishes with walnuts like pkhali and Badrijani Nigvzit.
Our version of khmeli-suneli contains fenugreek seeds, sweet paprika, saffron, coriander seeds, turmeric and summer savory.
Khmeli-suneli can be used as an ingredient to marinade meat for barbecue. It is an excellent spice blend to be used in chicken and lamb recipes, in bean soups and stews and also in vegetables dishes.
